Is Taher Kitisa - A Master-Fixer or Multi-Tasker or both?

The ex-President and ex-CEO for around 20+ years, was believed to be forced out from office but still clinging to TCA - Tanzania Cricket Association as a CONSULTANT under camouflaged back-patting from actual top person of TCA Board and its deputy.  Nothing wrong, unless we take into consideration that he is the Unique Example as an ex top board member of an ICC Associate Member country to be pulled-up by ICC ACU – Anti Corruption Unit for questioning.

 

In the morning of 25th July 2022, at International Convention Centre in Birmingham UK, during the week of ICC Annual Conference, Taher Kitisa was "special Guest" to ICC – ACU.

 

We gather from our discreet but reliable sources that speculations of below questions were placed before Taher Kitisa and its up to readers to draw conclusions:

 

1. What do you do for living?

 

2. What business are you involved?

 

3. Why Afro-Gulf Cricket Tournament planned for 3rd to 13th July  2022 in Dar es Salaam was postponed in the last moment despite intense publicity?

 

4. How you had planned to organize fund to conduct 8 nations tournament with Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, from Africa and Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar? 

 

5. Who were the main Sponsors? Any Media housed TV channel sponsorships?

 

6. Are you or any of your Board members are known or relative to the main Sponsor at personal level?

 

7. Why the sponsors backed out last minute? Were it for certain rumors circulating that the Afro – Gulf tournament is actually the proxy for Organized via online Match  and Spot Fixing scam?

 

8. Do you know Mr. "X", "Y" or "Z" or companies Pacific…. or TS…., involved in this tournament?

 

Etc. Etc. ………

 

Our sources were informed that in September 2022 ACA – Arica Cricket Association organized final of 8 nations ACA T20 Africa Cup in Johannesburg and due to non-issuance of VISA by South African High Commission, Nigeria couldn’t fly and join the tournament and knowing that Tanzania approached and wanted to fill the space of Nigeria. 

 

We believe that ACA management conditionally agreed and demanded an undertaking to accommodate Tanzania, with a strict & strong term that Tahir Kitisa will not be allowed to accompany team in what-so-ever capacity because ACA do not want to be associated with anybody who are not having beyond any doubt Clean-Cricket image and also such presence could be prejudicial to organization.

 

Tanzania gave the undertaking and ACA management accepted the team.

 

Curiously we learnt that ACA Board agreed with ACA management recommendations in consultation of LOC-Local Organizing Committee relevant to Tanzania and Tahir Kitisa and preservation of ACA clean image. However, it seems that then Chairman of ACA Sumod Damodar was not in agreement and strongly objected on disallowance of Taher Kitisa but fortunately he was out-voted.

 

In October 2022, Sumod Damodar lost confidence of ACA Board and management and in December 2022 Sumod Damodar was removed from the position of Chairman through South African companies act, as the ACA is a South African Company. Soon after his removal Africa discovers voices of BOTH orchestrated in "philharmonic cords" of lies and destructive "Symphony". Like united by calamity of scandals with two faces of a single farthing while a bad penny always turns up. 

 

ROUGES SUPLANT JUSTICE couldn't have found more phenomenal relevance than 9th March 2023. This is the day when ICC ACA - Anti-Corruption Unit had a ZOOM meeting with all ICC members of Africa Continent for the first time and more than 30 participants from all members of Africa Continent attended. One particular person was focal vocal of the questionaries when platform was opened for members to ask ICC – ACU representative. Be it in terms of time consumption or submission of opinions or list of ambiguous inquiries, 90% of these areas were solely occupied by lone bugle-mouthpiece Taher Kitisa from Tanzania. One side he manifesting his displeasure with ACU, other side he was drumming his bona-fide as "Caesar's wife must be above suspicion".  Taher Kitisa even went to no-go-zone and demanded ACU openly for list of entities, companies and persons who are under the suspicion category of ICC ACU.  Pathetic drama to prove his ignorance; or alleged innocence? 

 

In my next article I shall try to explore and probably expose the main heads of African "Gang of Four" who are using their own country portfolio to shake-hands with alleged fixers of Asia to organize a big fixing scam in 2023 in Africa to bring disgrace to African Cricket because  as a South Asian origin blogger having strong tie with East African Countries staunchly condemn the alleged corrupt persons  for damaging immeasurably gentleman's sport Cricket in Africa Continent.
