All set to take off>>>>>>>>Benoni, South Africa

15 - 22 September 2022.

The very first edition of 8 Nations Africa Cup Final organized by ACA - Africa Cricket Association is scheduled to start on 15th September 2022 at Willowmoore Park Cricket Stadium in Benoni, South Africa and the Final will be played on 22nd September.

The first edition of T20I Africa Cup tournaments started in 2018 but due to COVID 19 pandemic the finals were delayed for near 2 years but once International Cricket returned in Africa Continent in 2022, ACA - CEO Cassim Suliman confirmed and officially announced the event  calendar.

Following countries will be part of T20I Africa Cup Final :

Uganda, Nigeria, Mozambique, Malawi, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon and Botswana.

ACA - Africa Cricket Association is an autonomous and independent South African registered Continental Cricket Confederation with 23 African member countries having more than 570 million citizens.

99% of ACA members come from Africa membership of Global Cricket governing organization, ICC - International Cricket Council. ACA is an ideal compliments to Africa Continental Cricket Development adhered to Global Cricket regulations, similar to its congenerous Cricket Confederation of Asia, ACC - Asian Cricket Council.

ACA and ACC  were in a joint venture of AFRO-ASIA Cricket tournament in 2005 and 2007 with continental senior men and women teams having all big players from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya etc. played in India and South Africa as commencement of inter-continental cricket development complimenting ICC development program.

Famous Cricket administrators headed ACA - Africa Cricket Association since it started functioning  under South African Company laws from the beginning of this millennium. Like Percival Henry Frederick Sonn, was commonly known as Percy Sonn - former President of CSA - Cricket South Africa and ICC , Raymond Remember Mali or in short Ray Mali, former President of CSA and President of ICC, Late Peter Chingoka former Zimbabwe Cricket President and ICC Director, Dr. Mithuthuzeli Nyoka, former President of Cricket South Africa and Director of ICC Board, Kwesi Sagoe, former President of Nigeria Cricket Federation and Zehrabanu Janmohamed, famously known as Jackie, the first Continental Lady as a Cricket Kenya and ACA head.

However the common high-performance catalyst of Cricket Administration in Africa Continent is none other than Cassim Suliman who is also affectionately holder of nickname Mr. Cricket from Benoni for his unconditional Cricket work not only as a former director of Cricket South Africa or Eastern Cricket Union or ICC Africa regional manager but also as a ACA CEO to lead from the front the Afro-Asia joint venture in 2005 - 2007 and now the main architect of latest Cricket Bonanza - 1st edition of ACA T 20I Africa Cup in South Africa.

We find Cassim Suliman is the most competent and trustworthy bona-fide bridge to link ACA towards global ICC as the alleyway of African Cricket progress.

Africa is waiting to witness the globally Televised broadcasting of final of T20I Africa Cup, 8 nations tournament from South Africa to showcase how good continent of Africa is catching up to the rest of the cricket-developed-globe in cricket.

We wish all the success to Africa cup.
